Etang de la Chaume is a newly available venue totalling 18 acres of which the lake is 11.7 acres surrounded by mature trees with an overgrown island in the middle, access to which is restricted. The lake is spring fed and the whole property is enclosed by a six foot fence which provides a degree of privacy and seclusion.

Hidden away in a tranquil and beautiful rural location in the north of the Haute Vienne, the lake is over 150 years old and has been used exclusively for duck shooting for the last 25 years and no fishing of any consequence has taken place over this period. There is a good head of carp and black bass, as well as some tench, perch and roach, In November a number of carp of between 30lbs and 40lbs were introduced. Boats are provided for ground baiting. Shower and toilets are provided

The nearest shops are three miles away at Lussac and include two bakeries, a small Spar supermarket and two bars .

The lake is situated mid way between Poitiers (75 min drive). Limoges (60min) and Cheauteroux (60min). It is about 302 miles from Le Havre, 301 miles from Dieppe and about 401 miles from Calais. It takes me about 6 hours from Le Havre driving a deisel van.

ACCOMMODATION is available if required comprising 3 caravans, made up of 5 double berths. Meals can be provided.
